The mistaking of gentleness for weakness is like underestimating a Russian writer, as both Napoleon and Hitler found out. Rudeness will not be tolerated. It is the manager's discretion as to what they consider rude. Rudeness or attacking someone else, whether personally or their work, will be cause for instant deletion of membership and banishment. There will be no heavy critiques on this site. The managers encourage criticism but only through private email. We believe that to be the best way. That way no one can be seen as rude or attacking someone else and no one gets their feelings hurt in front of others. General critiques and comments will be allowed as long as they are phrased in such a manner as to be seen as kind, constructive criticism. Please take a minute to think over what you are about to say to someone else. If you use a word that could be construed as profanity (i.e., s**t, G*d d**n, f*****g, etc.) in your work, edit it by using asterisks or in some other way. We do have minors as members. The words "hell", "damn", and "damned" will be allowed without editing. If you do not have time to read and respond to other members, then you do not have time to post your own works here. Every month the managers will go down the list of members and delete anyone who has not posted or responded in the last three months. We are not interested in the number of members we have, only their quality. Absolutely no pornographic works of any kind will be allowed. Be kind to others.
